Paislee's 1st Easter

Paislee's first Easter wasn't very exciting. We hung out around the house all day, and before we knew it, it was almost time for bed! The Easter Bunny was in town taking pictures, but we didn't want to take her for a picture seeing that he probably saw every kid in town today, and probably got sneezed on, pooped on, farted on, puked on, etc. and we would like to avoid those germs for as long as possible :o) Then we were going to go to church, BUT my body didn't agree with that idea, and I can barely find clothes to wear just on regular days right now, much less to church. We did want to take some pictures of her with her little Easter basket that the Easter Bunny brought her, and in her first smock dress that her Aunt Phyllis bought her. Can I just say that the Easter Bunny dropped her basket off weeks ago, and Mommy and Daddy have really had to practice major self control trying to stay away from that candy, ha! She wasn't a big fan of the dress--it was stiff and not very soft and comfy like she prefers, so we had a hard time getting a good picture without her fussing. Here are the only two we got that she wasn't crying in or making a crazy face :o)
We also have a few (3) 'Babies 1st Easter' bibs, from Grandma Jan, Papa Stem and Aunt Jodi, but we haven't taken pictures of her wearing them yet--maybe after her bath. She is knocked out right now and I am quickly learning to never wake a sleeping baby and to enjoy every second of peace & quiet that you can get!
Happy Easter from our family to yours!

XOXO,
